• As a provisional clinical specialist, work as a short term or part-time employee in private practice supported and supervised by Melissa and Errin

• Gain exposure to the creation and maintenance of a private practice

• Become an approved service provider for Department of Community Services clients, Victim Services, Non-Insured Health Benefits Program (NIHB), etc

• Learn about direct billing insurance companies

• Gain practical tools for launching own private practice

Private practice provides an opportunity for autonomy and flexibility. Through LAUNCH, Melissa and Errin provide strategies and support for emerging MSW Clinical Specialists. Melissa and Errin can provide referrals and supervision for clinical work with these clients. You will gain exposure to private practice managment to develop your own part-time or full-time practice. In addition to clinical practice and supervision, administrative and entrpreneurial functions of this endeavour will be covered through LAUNCH.
